WE ARE THE NEVADA PARALYZED VETERANS OF AMERICA

OUR MISSION STATEMENT

The Nevada Paralyzed Veterans of America, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to improving and ensuring the quality of life for American veterans who have suffered spinal cord injury or disease resulting in paralysis. Our purpose is to assist in the fulfillment of the need for health and well being for all of our members through education, location of resources, medical research, physical and psychological therapy, co-operation with other corporations, groups and institutions engaged in similar activities and the advancement of wheelchair athletic participation for the purpose of improved health and medical problem prevention.

In short, we try and help our paraplegic and quadriplegic veterans that are confined to wheelchairs lead productive and meaningful lives in our community.

Our membership is over 320 strong and we anticipate significant growth as the brave men and women begin returning from Iraq.

We are so appreciative of the support that we receive from the community.  We are donation funded and do not receive federal, state or local government money.  We graciously accept any and all donations and have a vehicle donation program for vehicles both running and non-running.  All donations to our organization, both cash and in-kind, are tax deductible.

Thank you for your interest in our organization.  Please feel free to contact us directly at any time for further information.

GOD BLESS AMERICA AND THOSE WHO SERVED HER
